Pastor Brian Johnson Brian grew up in Thermopolis and was called back to pastor in his hometown in 2014. He graduated from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with an MDiv in theology and pastored a church in southern Indiana for 7 years before returning to Wyoming. Brian is dedicated to equipping the church to do the work of ministry and to winning others for Christ in every sphere God has placed him, which have been many and varied. He loves to laugh, try new things, coach, lift weights, and hurt himself in unique ways :) Brian and his wife, Betsy, have been married for 23 years and have 6 children. |

Miss Triss - Secretary Triss Herrington was born and raised in New Mexico. She was married to John Herrington, a Southern Baptist minister for 55 years. John pastored Risen Son for the last 10 years of his life. Triss has worked at the church for 20 years and loves Thermopolis. |

Kevin Dickey - Elder Kevin Dickey, his wife Sherri, and their four sons moved to Thermopolis in 2011 and have been a part of Risen Son Southern Baptist Church since. Kevin currently serves the church by leading a Sunday morning Bible study and in the worship music ministry. He is passionate about the rural and ranching way of life in northwest Wyoming and the people that make our community great. Kevin is in the community daily with his veterinary practice where his desire is to demonstrate the love and compassion of the Savior to everyone he meets. |

Ryan Shaffer - Elder Ryan was born and raised in Thermopolis where he met his wife, Lacey. After time away for college and work, they moved back to be closer to the home they loved. Now as he runs a local business with his family, his focus is on the things above and loving the community God has placed him in. Through the church, work, and coaching, God has allowed him to continue to mature in the things that are important in this world and share them with those he can. |

Mike Maksin - Deacon Mike was rasied in Colorado Springs and moved to Thermopolis about 25 years ago. It was around that time he sumbitted his life to Christ. Mike does residential construction in the Thermopolis area. He and his wife, Rose, have one son, Jake. Mike loves spending time outdoors, cooking great food, volunteering with the church, and learning God's Word.

Daniel Burton - Deacon In-Training Dan was raised in Aztec, New Mexico and moved to Thermopolis in the fall of 2022 followingtime in college at Colorado State and New Mexico State University. Dan is a rangeland ecologist for the NRCS and works with local ag producers. He and his wife, Whitney have a menagerie of animals, ranging from cats and dogs to a turtle. Dan has a passion for youth ministry and helping to light a fire for Christ in the next generation, as well as spending time with his brothers in Christ in the word studying together. In his spare time, he enjoys being out in God’s creation with his wife, spending time in the word, cooking and cheering on his favorite sports teams. |

Jared Little - Deacon In-Training Jared was born and raised in Thermopolis. He has attended Risen Son for more than 15 years and he loves the church and what it stands for-- gloryifying God and Him forever! Jared loves hunting, fishing, and all things outdours as well as cultivatiing a deep desire and love for Christ and the things of Christ. |
